Construction continued on a bridge in Doboj, that will allow Stabilization Force (SFOR), travel over the Bosnia River. The 13-10 Helicopter Unit, part of the 7th Squadron of the United Kingdom Royal Air Force (RAF), Support Helicopter Force based out of Split, deployed with a Chinook to move three 7.5 ton abutments into the river. Last week increased water level in the Bosna River delayed the scheduled mission.

 An Iowa Army National Guard, CH-47 Chinook helicopter takes off from Camp Stephenson with a sling load of supplies. The supplies from Combined Task Force Falcon will be flown to an outlying site, supporting this first combined humanitarian and civic assistance exercise conducted between the United States and Guyana. Military personnel from the Air Force, Air Force Reserve and National Guard, Army, Army National Guard and Marine Corps participated in the exercise which included engineering and medical readiness training.

 A crew from the 63rd Chemical Company, 101st Airborne Division, prepares to sling load an (M-56 Coyote) Smoke Generator mounted on M1113 High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), with a CH-47 Chinook helicopter. This is the first lift of this type of vehicle Army wide. The 63rd Chemical Company is an air assault dual-purpose chemical company that provides smoke, decontamination and flame field expedient weapons support to the 101st Airborne Division.
